Question:Is this thick enough for long use in a wire-bottomed crate?
Answer:My dog uses up to 4 hours at a time. i would have purchased a more padded one if I could have but in my case, my dog is nearly too tall for his crate. Any more padding and I'd have needed a larger crate. This is nicer than most pads but not as padded as a dog bed. 

Question:Do all the beds have a dog bone imprint on them?
Answer:The pink (Plush Tufted Pillow) does not have dog bone imprint.
